If you were absent today, do your best to be here tomorrow to fill out a trial jury slip for your listening score.
This is your last day to practice for the mock trial! If you were absent today, make sure you have practiced thoroughly so that you can have good eye contact and earn a good speaking score. You should also make sure you are familiar with objections, especially if you are a lawyer. Witnesses cannot call objections, BUT they can pointedly look at their lawyer in hopes of a lawyer making one for them :) Finally, make sure you are familiar with the order of the trial (on slide 21 here)
If you were absent today, make sure you are practicing your role for the mock trials coming up at the end of this week!
If you were absent today, please make sure you finish your trial prep for your role. Evidence gathering sheets are due at the end of class today and will be returned to you to make sure your evidence is ready to go for the trial. You should check your evidence to make sure it isn't objectionable (see objections on slides 18-19 here).
If you were absent, make sure to prepare for YOUR role.
If you were absent today, make sure you finish your evidence gathering sheet. It will be collected on Friday. You should then watch some of the videos of trial roles (witness or lawyer) here; your group chose roles today so you will get what is left when you return.
If you were absent today, please make sure you are working on collecting evidence for the trial from your assigned pages.
The slides are the same as yesterday's; please find your team and read the pages with the best evidence for your case, and make notes to prepare for the trial.
